The Herald-Sun – Hwy 54 + Farrington traffic circle?

One would hope that the land owners and business owners at this over crowed, lucrative and heavily traveled intersection would share in the financial solution to the problems here.  These owners are making a mint at this location and to expect the taxpayers to shoulder the entire burden is a bit unfair.

I like the idea of an elevated traffic circle but I worry about the expense and pain of getting it constructed.

Remember folks when Southpoint mall was built, planners required that the developers build the urban interchange at I-40 and Fayetteville Road.  Also remember that the work was completed in RECORD time, funny how that works when free enterprise is footing the bill.
