Turner is a father, husband, and son, calling Durham home since 2009. He has two sons, 15 and 13 years old. Both are heavily involved in sports, and he makes every effort to attend each of their baseball and football games. He grew up in Goldsboro, living there until he graduated high school in 1996. After graduating, he moved to Wilmington for two years, then to Greenville for ten years where he met his wife, Melissa. Together, they moved to Carrboro in 2007 so she could finish school. Turner worked various bartending jobs, eventually becoming the bar manager at Embassy Suites in Brier Creek for ten years. He started real estate school in December of 2019, which led into the Covid-19 pandemic. It forced him to jump into this new career with both feet, and he hasn’t looked back since.
He initially joined another firm, and after a little more than a year, he realized he needed a better fit. A mutual friend put him in touch with Michael Sullivan. After some discussion and consideration, he joined MLSullivan Property Management in October 2021, and he knew almost immediately it was the right decision. He yearned to fully learn the business of real estate and property management, and he’s immensely grateful for the guidance and mentorship that Michael has provided. Today, Turner is a property manager, REALTOR®, and our Director of Operations. Turner says, “When I started, we were managing 143 properties in the Triangle; I am proud to say we have grown to 472 properties and are still going strong! Our team has grown with the business, and I could not be prouder of the people I get to work with and call friends!”
