Hailing from New Jersey, Michael has called North Carolina home for over 40 years. After a career as an educator in our public schools, he made a career change and became a REALTOR® in 1993. During the housing crash in the late 2000’s, Michael began his foray into property management as a solution for his clients who found difficulty selling their homes in that market. Today, he is a property manager, real estate broker and the broker-in-charge of MLSullivan Property Management. As broker-in-charge, he is responsible for implementing and executing all business building, planning, and prospecting tasks.
As a seasoned negotiator, he is responsible for negotiating management agreements, meeting tenants in person to show our properties, instituting tenant background checks, overseeing the ratification of all leasing agreements, and managing major repairs and renovations on behalf of our owners. Of course, one of Michael’s most critical roles is to account for all monies held in trust for tenants and landlords. He has chosen his team personally and purposefully, ensuring each member understands what sets us apart from our competition is our knowledge, level of service, and ability to help our clients navigate the world of real estate.
